Eine I2-Regelstrecke sei énergie- und zeitoptimal, d.h. unter Minimisierung nachstehenden Gütekriteriums

mit t0= 0 derart zu steuern, daß von den Anfangsbedingungen x1(0), x2(0) in die Ruhelage als Endbedingung Rf übergegangen wird. Dabei ist die Stellgrößenbegrenzung -1 = umin ≤ u(t) < umax = 1 zu beachten. Die Streckengleichungen lauten im Zustandsraum
