When we speak of “Mind”, we conjure up an opposition between it and “Material”. In other words, dualistic thought is always held within mind. If mind is not in rivalry against material, it holds a position of superiority over it. Mind never holds material within it. Where dualistic thought does not exist, neither does mind.
