Psychopharmaka für Psychotherapeuten

Zusammenfassung

Obwohl sich die Situation mehr und mehr bessert, fühlen sich viele Patienten nach wie vor in dem oben angeführten Gegensatz gefangen. Von Seiten der Psychiatrie als klinischer Disziplin der Behandlung schwerwiegender seelischer Verstimmungen und als Integrans gilt es, mit diesen unzeitgemäßen Ressentiments aufzuräumen. Immer häufiger absolvieren Psychiater (aber auch Neurologen!) neben ihrer Facharztausbildung eine psychotherapeutische Ausbildung (Umfrageergebnis in Österreich: Hofmann et al. 1992). Deshalb wird in der Psychiatrie seit Jahren die Integration zwischen Pharmakotherapie und Psychotherapie vollzogen. Dies zeigt sich auch in der neuen Ausbildungsordnung zum Facharzt, in welche die Psychotherapie verstärkt Eingang gefunden hat. Eine stetig wachsende Zahl an Patienten ist nun nicht mehr einem Dreiecksverhältnis aus Patient — Psychiater — Psychotherapeut ausgesetzt. Diese spezielle Konstellation birgt viele Unsicherheiten für alle Beteiligten.

Mein Arzt meint Psychotherapie bedeute für Freundschaft zu bezahlen. Mein Therapeut wiederum glaubt nicht an Medikamente.
