Zusammenfassung

Immunsuppressiva sind dadurch charakte- risiert, daß sie eine Abschwachung und eine Unterdruckung der Reaktionsfähigkeit des Immunsystems bewirken, um so uner-wünschte Immunreaktionen zu verhindern. Eine Reihe von therapeutischen Regimen - die meisten sind aus der Onkologie bzw. Rheumatologie bekannt— wurde hinsicht- lich ihrer immunsuppressiven Wirkung bei verschiedenen Lungenerkrankungen unter- sucht. In erster Linie ging es dabei darum, eine mögliche Alternative zu der gängigen Glucocorticoidtherapie zu finden.
