Abstract

The anterior skull base is the roof of the ethmoid complex. It is thinner and therefore more vulnerable anteriorly than posteriorly. Both anterior and posterior ethmoid neurovascular bundles may be seen if a complete marsupialization of the ethmoid complex is done.
