Zusammenfassung
Durch verschiedene Studien kann das Vorliegen von Störungen in der Informationsverarbeitung und kognitiver Funktionen bei Schizophrenen als belegt gelten (Übersicht: Nuechterlein und Dawson 1984). Der Nachweis neuropsychologischer Defizite auch bei „Hoch-Risiko-Verwandten“ Schizophrener weist auf strukturelle („trait“), nicht nur auf funktionelle („state“) — Defizite im Sinne einer Vulnerabilität hin (Harvey et al. 1986).
