Abstract

These tumors, related to the sympathetic ganglia and to the adrenal medulla (see pag. 12), are thus located in a para-midline position anteriorly to the vertebral column, in the neck, posterior mediastinum, retroperitoneum, and pelvis. Due to their exclusive localization, these tumors do not involve orthopedic practice and we have scarce experience with them, except for the skeletal metastases from neuroblastomas.
