Abstract
The presentation of electric pain therapy given here deviates in some major details from classic electrotherapy. This does not mean that the usual scheme does not act against pain; but we began to investigate an essential prerequisite: the question whether an electric field would act upon nerves at all and if so, which kind of electric impulse was the one allowing to obtain optimal results. After an effect was ascertained optimal current, optimal size and position of electrodes was tested for each condition amenable to this therapy via nerves. If the reader keeps to the specified characteristics of electric impulses and places electrodes carefully where they should be for the respective condition, as described herein, one will obtain the reported results and pain reduction.
