Abstract
The preparation, including the brain stem, cerebellum, and diencephalon, is progressively reduced by 2 mm thick sections. Each figure consists of the inferior view of the remaining surface section with oblique views allowing to localize the level of the section. Whenever possible, head sections and MRI are added. An identical key applies to any panels a figure is composed of.
