Abstract
Matrices are the set of m by n numbers arranged in a rectangular array with m rows and n columns. The order of matrices is determined by the number of rows and columns and normally written as mXn. If m = n, the matrix is called a square matrix of order n. If n = 1, it is called a column matrix or a vector.
