Zusammenfassung

Mit der arthroskopischen subakromialen Dekompression (ASD) wird versucht, die von C.S. Neer beschriebene Acromioplastik [18] auf arthroskopischem Wege durchzuführen [2, 8, 9, 11, 21]. Als besonderer Vorteil gegenüber der offenen Methode ist anzuführen, daß der Musculus deltoideus nicht abgelöst werden muß. Dies hat neben einem besseren kosmetischen Ergebnis auch eine kürzere Rehabilitationszeit zur Folge [2, 8, 12, 21].
