Zusammenfassung
Glasklarer, gefäßloser und nervenloser elliptisch geformter Körper, der in der hinteren Augenkammer den Raum zwischen Irisrückfläche und der Vorderfläche des Glaskörpers (= Fossa patellaris) einnimmt. Der anterior-posteriore Durchmesser erreicht ungefähr 4 mm und nimmt jenseits des 50. Lebensjahres auf 4,75 bis 5 mm zu. Der äquatoriale Durchmesser bewegt sich um 9 mm.
