Abstract

The 38-year-old patient was diagnosed with a 21 mm tumor in the right breast 10 cm cranial of the nipple areola complex (NAC). Core needle biopsy found an invasive ductal cancer of intermediate grade, positive hormonal receptors, and a negative Her-2-neu status. The breast was of medium size and ptotic with the nipple 5 cm lower of the inframammary fold (Fig. 28.1a, b).
