Ein ungarisches Sprichwort besagt: „Kein Mensch ist so reich, dass er nicht seinen Nachbarn bräuchte.“ Der französische Dramatiker Marcel Achard meinte: „Nachbarn sind die Prüfungsaufgaben, die uns das Leben stellt.“ Und der israelische Satiriker Ephraim Kishon schrieb in seinem Buch Die netten Nachbarn: „Freunde erwählt man, nahe Verwandte kann man entfernen, aber Nachbarn bleiben Nachbarn.“

Abstract

There is a Hungarian proverb that says: “No one is so rich that he doesn’t need his neighbours.” The French dramatist Marcel Achard said: “Neighbours are tests that life sets us.” And the Israeli satirist Ephraim Kishom once wrote in a satire: “You choose your friends, you can detach close relatives, but neighbours remain neighbours.”
