Zusammenfassung
Indie letzte Revision der ICD-10 (WHO 1992) wurde erstmals die Kategorie „Akute Vorübergehende Psychotische Störungen“ (AVP) (F23) aufgenommen. Indieser Kategorie wurden akute, in der Regel dramatische psychotische Zustände von kurzer Dauer und in der Regel guter Prognose untergebracht (siehe Tab. 1). Die Weltgesundheitsorganisation betont, dass trotz Kreierung dieser Kategorie unser Wissen darüber mager ist, und dass man noch sehr viel Forschung auf diesem Gebiet benötigt (WHO, 1992).
