Abstract
One of the ways of dealing with the climatic issues that face us today is by expanding our thoughts to encompass what is outside the immediacy of our own experience. We are asked to consider where something has come from, what its journey has been, the impact it has had along the way, and what will happen to it once it continues on its way, how our actions will affect it and how it will affect others. We are required to think of a past and a future, beyond our own experience, and the selfishness of our own time and space.
