Clusters as Subsystems in Light Nuclei

Part of the book series: Clustering Phenomena in Nuclei ((CPN,volume 3))

Abstract

The problem of clusters in atomic nuclei involves many different aspects. Our task here is to supplement substantially the already available good reviews [Sa77, Ho78, Wi77] by the material which, we hope, may turn out to be of a rather general importance. In the present review, we shall be concerned with two aspects.
