Zusammenfassung

Pathophysiologische Überlegungen zum Thema der Identifizierung und Bedeutung von Risikofaktoren können prinzipiell nach zwei unterschiedlichen Gesichtspunkten gegliedert werden: 1. Untersuchungen zum pathophysiologischen Mechanismus der Einwirkung eines Risikofaktors auf den Organismus und die Ursachen für seine krankmachende Wirkung. 2. Pathophysiologische Untersuchungen, die Hinweise für die frühzeitige Entdeckung von Risikopersonen liefern können.
