Zusammenfassung
Eine Möglichkeit das langfristige Bestehen einer Unternehmung im Wettbewerb sicherzustellen oder sogar Wettbewerbsvorteile zu erlangen, besteht im zielgerichteten Einsatz von ‚Informationen und Informationstechnologie‘ (IIT). Das Auffinden dieser strategischen Einsatzmöglichkeiten für IIT bereitet häufig erhebliche Schwierigkeiten, da die Aufgabenstellung schlecht strukturiert ist und es keine direkten Hilfsmittel zu deren Lösung gibt. Die Schwierigkeiten, die bei der Suche nach strategischen Einsatzmöglichkeiten von IIT entstehen, ließen die Entwicklung eines rechnergestützten Hilfsmittels als besonders nutzbringend erscheinen. Diese Idee führte zur Konzeption von S*P*A*R*K, einem Wissensbasierten System zur Identifizierung strategischer Einsatzmöglichkeiten von IIT, das bei der Generierung erfolgversprechender Ideen behilflich sein soll.
