Vgl. Mertens, P., Integrierte Informationsverarbeitung I, a.a. O., S. 133 ff.

Tchijov, I., FMS World Data Bank, Working Paper WP-89–33, International Institute for Applied System Analysis (IIASA), S. 6.
Jaikumar, R., Postindustrial Manufacturing, a.a.O., S. 72. Ingersoll Engineers, Flexible Fertigungssysteme, a.a.O., S. 19.
Vgl. Tchijov, I., FMS World Data Bank, a.a.O., S. 1 ff.
Jaikumar, R., Postindustrial Manufacturing, a.a.O., S. 72.

Kuhn, H., Einlastungsplanung von flexiblen Fertigungssystemen, a.a.O., S. 47 ff.; Tempelmeier, H., Kuhn, H., Flexible Fertigungssysteme, a.a.O., S. 384 ff.; Förster, H., Hirt, K., PPS für flexible Automatisierung, a.a.O., S. 31 ff.
Forgarty, D., Blackstone, J., Hoffmann, T., Production and Inventory Management, a.a.O., S. 341; Vollmann, T., Berry, W., Whybark, D., Manufacturing Planning and Control Systems, a.a.O., S. 182 f.

Diese Definition entspricht der manufacturing lead time oder order-to-delivery time, vgl. Adam, D., Produktionsmanagement, a.a.O., S. 391 f.
