Zusammenfassung

In einer Zeit, in der häufig von einer „Entgrenzung der Politik“ (so zum Beispiel das Motto des deutschen Politologentages 2000 in Halle) die Rede ist, bietet es sich an, die damit zusammenhängenden Veränderungen für die Politik in Räumen zu untersuchen, die davon besonders betroffen sein müssten: Grenzregionen, das heißt Regionen, die an den Rändern der Nationalstaaten liegen beziehungsweise Regionen, die diese nationalstaatlichen Grenzen überschreiten.
