Zusammenfassung
Eine Produktionsfunktion gibt den quantitativen Zusammenhang zwischen den zur Leistungserstellung einzusetzenden Produktionsfaktormengen und der Ausbringung (Ertrag) an1,2. Bei Produktionsfunktionen muß es sich nicht um Funktionen im mathematischen Sinne handeln. Produktionsfunktionen sind häufig Relationen, d.h., es ist nicht zwingend, daß einem bestimmten Faktoreinsatz nur eine bestimmte Ausbringung zugeordnet ist; z. B. sind in der Gutenbergfunktion Fälle denkbar, wo der gleiche Faktoreinsatz je nach Kombination der Anpassungsparameter (Intensität und Einsatzzeit eines Aggregates) zu unterschiedlichen Ausbringungsmengen führt.
