Zur Soziologie der Sprache

Zusammenfassung

Um eine „rationale“ Strategie planen zu können, muß man sich zunächst über die Ziele einigen. Dann kann man darangehen, den Aufwand zu berechnen, den alternative Wege zur Verwirklichung dieser Ziele verursachen würden. Obwohl eine Strategie ohne Erwägung taktischer Probleme kaum denkbar ist, so muß doch die Taktik der Strategie untergeordnet werden.

Dieser Beitrag ist eine leicht erweiterte deutsche Bearbeitung meines gleichbetitelten Vortrags in Varna. Er stützt sich auf eine von Helga Zicke erstellte deutsche Übersetzung des englisch gehaltenen Vortrags. Die Bibliographie besteht nur aus den in der Synopsis als Beispiele zitierten Werken, während ich für den Vortrag eine umfassendere Bibliographie zirkulierte. Hier verzichte ich auf die Wiedergabe dieser Bibliographie, da ich auf die Generalbibliographie am Ende dieses Bandes und auf die Bibliographie zu meinem Beitrag „Soziologie der Sprache“ im 2. Band des von René König herausgegebenen Handbuchs der empirischen Sozialforschung (Stuttgart 1969) verweisen kann. Ich verweise auch auf jenen Beitrag zur Erläuterung des hier nur knapp skizzierten III. Abschnitts.
