Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag gibt einen Zwischenbericht über ein sprachsoziologisches Forschungsprogramm, das vom Verfasser im Rahmen der Forschungsgruppe E. R. A. 246 der C. N. R. S. durchgeführt wird. Es handelt sich dabei um eine Forschung über die Sprachsituation, über die Entwicklung einer Sprachpolitik und die Rolle der Sprache bei der Herausbildung eines Nationalbewußtseins in den neuen unabhängigen Staaten Westafrikas.
