Zusammenfassung

Die Untersuchungen des Mechanismus der Erregung von Lichtsinneszellen stehen an der Schwelle zur Molekularbiologie. Wir können heute für die Photorezeption eine Reihe von Fragen formulieren, deren Beantwortung in den kommenden Jahren zu großen Fortschritten unseres Verständnisses des molekularen Mechanismus der Photorezeption führen wird.
