Zusammenfassung
Neben dem Konsum, dessen Bestimmungsgründe im Teil III der Untersuchung behandelt werden, bilden die Investitionen eine weitere wesentliche Bestimmungsgröße für das Volkseinkommen. Sie spielen für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung eine bedeutendere Rolle als der Konsum. Von ihnen gehen sowohl kurzfristige als auch langfristige Wirkungen aus. Die kurzfristigen Wirkungen beeinflussen die Konjunkturentwicklung, die langfristigen den WachstumsprozeB der gesamten Volkswirtschaft. Aus diesem Grunde wird das Investitionsproblem in der ökonomischen Theorie vor allem im Rahmen von Konjunktur- und Wachstumsmodellen behandelt.
