Zusammenfassung

Die im Haus-, Hof- und Staatsarchiv zu Wien ruhende Handschrift (Hs W. 754) ist in den Jahren 1756/57 entstanden und hat den gleichen Text wie die in der Nationalbibliothek zu Wien befindliche Handschrift (Bibl. Pal. Vind. Cod. Series nova 12. 023/25). Sie ist von mehreren Schreibern angefertigt worden, wie die verschiedenen Hände erkennen lassen. Auffallend ist, daß der Schreiber des 3. Buches die übliche Einteilung in Hauptstücke zugunsten einer Aufteilung in Kapitel aufgegeben hat. Dem Manuskript liegen entweder eigenhändige Aufzeichnungen des Verfassers Beck zugrunde, oder das Manuskript ist auf dessen Diktat verfaßt worden. Dies ergibt sich aus zwei Bemerkungen Becks, die in der Ich-Form abgefaßt sind (vgl. unten S. 587, 598).
