Zusammenfassung
Die Herstellung künstlich radioaktiver Nuklide beruht auf der Ausnutzung von Kernreaktionen mit guter Ausbeute. Wirtschaftliche Bedeutung haben drei Verfahren erlangt:

die Herstellung radioaktiver Nuklide durch Neutronenreaktionen im Kernreaktor,
-
die Herstellung radioaktiver Nuklide mit geladenen Teilchen im Zyklotron und
-
die Abtrennung radioaktiver Nuklide aus Spaltproduktgemischen.
