Zusammenfassung
In Materie unterscheidet man zwischen freien und gebundenen Ladungen und Strömen. Letztere sind verantwortlich für Polarisation und Magnetisierung, die in Materialgleichungen berücksichtigt sind und die Maxwell-Gleichungen modifizieren. Demgemäß sind auch die Randbedingungen für die Materiefelder anzugeben. Hinzu kommt in Materie das Ohm’sche Gesetz. Es können dann die London-Gleichungen, dielektrische Funktionen und die Energie- und Impulsbilanz berechnet werden.
