Zusammenfassung
In diesem Beitrag geben wir zunächst einen Überblick über den sogenannten Social Identity Approach und insbesondere die Forschung, die zeigt, dass soziale Identifikation mit Gruppen, wie Teams oder Unternehmen, mit einer Reihe von positiven arbeitsbezogenen Konsequenzen zusammenhängt – wie Leistung, Innovation oder Gesundheit der Mitarbeitenden. Wir stellen dann das Konzept der identitätsorientierten Führung vor und beschreiben Studien, die die Wirksamkeit dieser Art von Führung für Mitarbeitende unterstreichen. Schließlich gehen wir auf die praktische Umsetzung ein und zeigen auf, wie Führungskräfte zu einer von allen geteilten Identität in den Gruppen, die sie führen, beitragen können.
