Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel erläutert die wissenschaftlichen Hintergründe der HappinessandWork-Scale (HaWoS), verdeutlicht den Stellenwert von Arbeit und Arbeitsemotionen und umreißt die Unterschiede von Glück und Zufriedenheit bei der Arbeit. Die Autor:innen hoffen so einen Beitrag zur höheren Trennschärfe des Konstrukts „Glück bei der Arbeit“ zu leisten, damit in der Zukunft eine differenziertere Interpretation bereits vorliegender Studien ermöglicht werden kann. Glück bei der Arbeit wird durch die Faktoren Sinnempfinden, Selbstverwirklichung und Gemeinschaft beeinflusst, die mit der HappinessandWork-Scale erfasst werden. Gleichzeitig zeigen wir Effekte von Glück bei der Arbeit wie Kreativität, emotionale Bindung, intrinsische Motivation, positive Stimmung und gesteigerte Leistung.
