Abstract

How much can an emergency physician really experience and carry in a day? In this case it becomes clear that a series of serious emergencies is possible in one day and represents an enormous challenge which also the present helping persons have to process in order not to carry away any psychologically long-term trauma: even emergency physicians are allowed to ask for help.
