Abstract

What is common in the hospital is often—if you hear hoofbeats, you should look for horses, not zebras—this often facilitates the diagnosis, say American colleagues. But: There is always an exception to this. You can assume a statistical number, but you must not forget that there is always a “plus-minus” or simply a zebra.
