Abstract

There are always things in modern medicine in all areas that “have always been done” and that are sometimes questionable in their sense—especially in the middle of the night. Quickly forgets that our modern, western medical care is still far from self-evident everywhere in the world and we should ultimately be grateful for the ubiquitous medical care. The present case shows that the conditions for many people can also be quite different, or much worse.
