Zusammenfassung
Der Fähigkeitenansatz hat sich als wichtige Theorie in der globalen Gerechtigkeitsdebatte etabliert, und er scheint auch gut geeignet zu sein, einen Rahmen für die Diskussion über globale Gerechtigkeit für Kinder zu bieten. Doch obwohl es immer mehr empirische und theoretische Literatur gibt, die den Fähigkeitenansatz auf Kinder und die Phase der Kindheit anwendet, gibt es immer noch nur sehr wenige Arbeiten über dessen philosophische Konzeption von (globaler) Gerechtigkeit für Kinder. Der vorliegende Beitrag möchte diesbezüglich einige Lücken füllen, indem er die Rolle von Funktionsweisen (functionings) als Währung globaler Gerechtigkeit für Kinder hinterfragt.
