Zusammenfassung

Fragen der Gerechtigkeit gehören zu den aktuellsten und meistdiskutierten der praktischen Philosophie der Gegenwart. Das Theorieangebot ist groß und zu vielen drängenden Herausforderungen unserer Zeit gibt es mittlerweile eine sehr große Zahl an wertvollen und ausdifferenzierten philosophischen Beiträgen aus Sicht der Gerechtigkeitstheorie. So sind beispielsweise die Themen der globalen Gerechtigkeit, der Gerechtigkeit zwischen den Generationen und der Gerechtigkeit gegenüber Tieren oder der Umwelt in der aktuellen Debatte sehr präsent und auf einem hohen theoretischen Niveau angelangt.
