Zusammenfassung
Minderjährige Flüchtlinge stehen aus mehreren Gründen im Fokus wissenschaftlicher, öffentlicher, politischer und rechtlicher Aufmerksamkeit. Einerseits werden Kinder als besonders verletzlich wahrgenommen und genießen dahingehend besonderen Schutz. Andererseits gibt es einen Diskurs, der Kinder als Vehikel der Migration ihrer Eltern sieht – in dieser Vorstellung nutzen die Eltern oder andere Verwandte den besondere Schutz minderjähriger Flüchtlinge aus, um einen Aufenthaltsstatus zu bekommen, der ihnen sonst nicht zukommen würde.
