Zusammenfassung

Die endovaskuläre Therapie (Angioplastie und Stenting, ER) hat die offene Chirurgie (OR) als bevorzugte Behandlung von Abgangsstenosen der Mesenterialarterien bei Patienten mit chronischer mesenterialer Ischämie ohne Darminfarkt verdrängt. Gleichwohl ist die offene Chirurgie immer noch in den folgenden Situationen indiziert: nach endovaskulärem Therapieversagen ohne die Möglichkeit einer wiederholten endovaskulären Behandlung; bei ausgedehntem Verschluss, Kalzifikationen oder anderen technischen Schwierigkeiten; bei jungen Patienten mit nicht-arteriosklerotischen Läsionen aufgrund von Vaskulitis oder mittlerem Aortensyndrom.
