Abstract
Whereas the protection of traditional cultural landscapes was previously seen as the goal of nature conservation efforts, a completely opposite nature conservation intention is now being set against it: the complete exclusion, if possible, of humans from the protected section of the landscape. Nature should be restored as untouched as possible.
