Abstract
In this section we cover the planets of the solar system. We define eight major planets today: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Pluto is no longer counted among the major planets, since many objects have now been found in the solar system that are similar in size to Pluto.
