Zusammenfassung

Teamarbeit ist ein wichtiges Instrument zur Organisation von Arbeit, Wissensmanagement und Lernen in Organisationen. Teams bieten ihren Mitgliedern Zugehörigkeit, soziale Unterstützung, Lernfeld und Entwicklungschancen. Sie können sich schnell an veränderte Umweltbedingungen anpassen, übernehmen Führungsaufgaben und ermöglichen dadurch flachere Organisationshierarchien – all das ist für organisationale Agilität wichtig. Doch Teamarbeit ist per se noch kein Garant für Erfolg. Die Bedingungen für erfolgreiche Teamarbeit sind vielschichtig und liegen im Team-Design, in der Gestaltung unterstützender Kontextbedingungen und in einer effektiven Steuerung auf der Aufgaben- und Beziehungsebene. Diese Elemente werden im folgenden Kapitel nachgezeichnet. Die spezifischen Beiträge des HRM werden skizziert.
