Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel wird die statistische Risikoeinschätzung von Schadenereignissen, die in einer Serie von Beobachtungen oder in einem Beobachtungszeitraum noch nicht aufgetreten sind, thematisiert. Ein solcher Fall liegt typischerweise bei Risikosituationen mit extremen Ereignissen und kleiner Ereigniswahrscheinlichkeit vor. Im Rahmen des Bernoulli-Modells aus Kap. 2 und im Rahmen des Poisson-Modells aus Kap. 4 werden verschiedene statistische Ansätze vorgestellt und diskutiert, um mit Situationen umzugehen, in denen noch kein Schadenereignis beobachtet wurde. Dazu gehört auch die Fragestellung, welche Stichprobenumfänge im Bernoulli-Modell und wie lange Beobachtungszeiträume im Poisson-Modell erforderlich sind, damit mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit mindestens ein Schadenereignis beobachtet wird.
