Zusammenfassung

In der Schule haben Sie vermutlich gelernt, dass der Mensch über fünf Sinne verfügt. Gemeint sind der Sehsinn, Gehörsinn, Riechsinn, Geschmackssinn und der Tastsinn. Es gibt noch eine Vielzahl weiterer Sinne, zum Beispiel den Lagesinn, Drehsinn, Temperatursinn und Schmerzsinn. Ebenso wie wir verfügen fast alle Fische über alle der genannten Sinnessysteme (s. Kasten 1). Dazu kommen bei vielen Tierarten noch ein elektrischer Sinn und ein Magnetsinn.
