Abstract

Correlation, or the relationship between variables, is another central concept in statistics, along with averages, variation and frequencies. Here we are interested in whether variables are related in some way, for example the number of cheeseburgers people eat per week and the amount of weight they carry around their belly. There might be a correlation, let’s think of Morgan Spurlock. In a self-experiment he ate only fast food for a while.
