Ein Exkurs führt uns in den «Wahren Norden». Unter diesem Titel hat vor einiger Zeit ein erfolgreicher Topmanager, Harvardprofessor und Buchautor ein Konzept für «authentische Leadership» präsentiert. Der beste Führungsstil sei der authentische, so sagen er und sein Team, und dass jeder Manager aufgrund seines eigenen Weges seinen Stil finden und wählen müsse. Dieser Ansatz weist Parallelen zu dem in diesem Buch postulierten, das sich auf die Kommunikation fokussiert, auf. Doch es fehlen Einsichten aus der Psychologie Jungs, und insbesondere die Vernachlässigung des Schattenphänomens birgt die Gefahr der Einseitigkeit
