Zusammenfassung
Wann stellt sich Wohlbefinden ein? Gemäß Annahmen der verhaltenstherapeutischen Standardmethode „Verhaltensaktivierung“ ist dies der Fall, wenn Handeln im Einklang mit den persönlichen Werten des Individuums steht. Wohlbefinden ist somit weniger das Resultat äußerer „Taktgeber“ oder Umstände, als das eigener Handlungsentscheidungen und -strategien. Diese auch nach emotionalen Rückschlägen oder Verstimmungszuständen wieder auf das Wohlbefinden auszurichten, ist lernbar. Dabei ist die Orientierung an kleinen Schritten wesentlich; Aktivitätenmonitoring und -planung stehen im Zentrum. Die Methode, ihr theoretischer Hintergrund und Ergebnisse zu ihrer Wirksamkeit, aber auch die typischen Hemmnisse bei der Umsetzung, werden in diesem Kapitel einführend dargestellt.
