Zusammenfassung
Eine gestörte Frühschwangerschaft ist eine sehr häufige Diagnose. Von den klinisch nachgewiesenen Schwangerschaften enden etwa 10–15 % vor der 12. Schwangerschaftswoche, ein Großteil vor Ende der 8. Woche [1,2]. Etwa jede 5. – 6. Frau erlebt mindestens einmal in ihrem Leben eine Fehlgeburt [3]. Dabei ist die Ursache in 50–60 % eine spontane genetische Mutation und wiederholt sich nicht [4]. Es erfordert Empathie und Einfühlungsvermögen, um mit der Patientin gemeinsam zu entscheiden, wie das weitere Vorgehen ist.
