Zusammenfassung

Es gehört zu einem Schwangerschaftsabbruch dazu, das Thema weiterer Verhütung anzusprechen. 80 % der Frauen ovulieren spätestens 3 Wochen nach Beendigung der Schwangerschaft [1]. Nach der medikamentösen Methode sind alle Verhütungsmittel geeignet und können unmittelbar nach der Blutungsinduktion angewendet werden [2, 3]. Bei der Beratung sollte vermieden werden, das Gefühl zu vermitteln, die Frau hätte nicht gut genug verhütet. Kein Verhütungsmittel bietet einen hundertprozentigen Schutz vor einer ungewollten Schwangerschaft.
