Zusammenfassung
Lage- und Verschmelzungsanomalien der Nieren sind selten und werden meist im Ultraschall zufällig detektiert. Sie bedürfen, wenn überhaupt, einer individuell angepassten Diagnostik und Therapie. Die nuklearmedizinische Funktionsdiagnostik bzw. die MRT-Diagnostik können bei einer eventuell notwendig werdenden operativen Therapie hilfreich sein. Die Hufeisenniere stellt die häufigste Fusionsanomalie dar. Sie kann aufgrund einer Harntransportstörung und/oder einer Nephrolithiasis symptomatisch werden.
Doppelnieren kommen in bis zu 4% vor und sind in der Regel ohne relevante Pathologie. Wenn eine relevante Pathologie vorkommt, betrifft sie vorwiegend den unteren Harntrakt (Reflux, obstruktiver Megaureter, ektoper Ureter oder Ureterozele), eine relevante subpelvine Stenose - meist des unteren Anteils der Doppelniere - ist eher selten. In dem Kapitel werden die Klassifikationen, Diagnostik und Behandlungsoptionen dargestellt.
Eine akzessorische (dritte/vierte) Niere ist sehr selten und meist ein Zufallsbefund im Rahmen einer Bildgebung aufgrund anderer Symptomatik.
