Zusammenfassung

Die rein ligamentäre Ellenbogenluxation wird prinzipiell konservativ behandelt. Sie ist von der Ellenbogenluxationsfraktur (Synonym: komplexe Luxation) zu unterscheiden. Dennoch kann die operative Versorgung der ligamentären Ellenbogenluxation notwendig werden, wenn der Ellenbogen nach geschlossener Reposition im Bereich des funktionellen Bogens eine Reluxationstendenz zeigt. Auch Patienten mit hohem funktionellem Anspruch (z. B. Wurfsportler oder Handwerker) können von einer ligamentären Primärversorgung im Sinne einer Bandnaht bzw. Bandaugmentation profitieren.
